Digital Technology Awards 2013 Wins for Amor and John Innes
Amor Group has been recognised twice in the 3rd annual ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards that were held last week.
Scooping top prize as Digital Technology Firm of the Year (large company category) came as recognition of our sustained growth - seeing £60m turnover, staff of 600+, and increased international presence.
As well as accolades for the business as a whole, Amor's John Innes was recognised as joint winner as CEO of the year along with Gary Ennis of NS Design following a tongue-in-cheek Presidential style campaign.
Commenting on the successes, John said:
"[This is a] fantastic achievement for us all and a testament to the hard work you all do in support of our growth plans. At an MSP reception we hosted last week, Fergus Ewing MSP commented that Amor is a 'torrent of ingenuity'. This is our time, we have created a truly fantastic business that consistently delivers profits and exceeds customers’ expectations – thank you to you all for contributing to this success."
The wins top off a week of recognition for Amor, with John also winning the Ernst & Young Entrepeneur of the Year Technology Award, and the business nominated for International Business of the Year at the Scottish Business Awards - at which former US President Bill Clinton was speaking.
