This is the second North Sea contract won by Pragma in a matter of weeks, having recently won a three-year Information Services (IS) contract with Total E&P UK Limited, with options to extend for a further two years.

The latest five-year deal – worth a combined total of around L5million - will see a team of 10 Pragma staff based on two UK sites, supported by a service delivery manager.

It covers the full range of IT support services, including a helpdesk and full desktop and infrastructure support.

Scott Leiper, (Operations Director), said: “This is great news for us and coming on the back of another major contact win, this latest success underlines our position as the Information Services provider of choice in the oil and gas industry.

“Our strong local presence and specialist expertise means we have the breadth of skills and experience to support IS projects of any size and scope.”

Pragma already provides services to the independent oil and gas operator market, with clients including the Hess Corporation, CNR, Total, Maersk and Cairn Energy as well as Talisman Energy.
