ChromaAODB - Multi-Airport Operational Database

ChromaAODBThe Airport Operational Database (AODB) is the central source for the collation, storage and distribution of key information across an airport. Increasingly, the AODB is not just critical to the airport’s operation but that of other key delivery partners, including airlines, ground handling agents, border agencies and law enforcement.

As the notion of collaborative decision making (CDM) becomes more prevalent throughout the industry, airports must be able to integrate and manage all key data, providing a single version of the truth.

ChromaAODB, alongside ChromaACDB, is the core module within the Chroma Airport Suite® and stores, manages and disseminates data relative to all traditional operational activities around the airport for both airside and terminal operations.

The system works in real time providing the relevant information to registered partners around the airport as well as internal airport staff. This collates all key information pertinent to a flight operation and presents this to a user in an intuitive interface. As the status of flights change e.g delayed flights, diverted flights, this is presented in real time to the user for proactive decision making.

ChromaAODB provides a flexible, all-encompassing AODB that is flexible to the full spectrum of operational methods. Operators such as MAG utilise ChromaAODB to run multiple airports from one central AODB, resulting in substantial operational efficiencies and cost savings.
